My must-dos for Italy (Rome, Florence and Cinque Terre)

Rome

• Colosseum & Palatine Hills tour: Book a guided tour before hand, worth it. It can get pretty crowded and will be almost impossible to get tickets there. I’ve mostly used https://www.getyourguide.com/, they’re reliable. The views from Palatine Hills was beautiful.
• Vatican City and Sistine Chapel: Easily the most incredible chapel I’ve seen in Europe)
• Do a city walking tour: Gives a lot of insight into Roman history, you get to walk around and take in the vibes of the city, and covers the major spots, also meet new people :) and the guide gives good recommendations after the tour! Also on https://www.getyourguide.com/
• The Trevi fountain during sunset
• FOOD! Literally try any corner shop in the lanes, everything would be amazing. Pizza, Pasta, Wine. Especially try
  • the Stracciatella cheese
  • Truffle/ truffle oil pasta
  • Ask for house Wines in restros, they’re local and nice
  • Gelato ice creams :D

Stay

• We stayed in a hostel that was well rated, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Rome is too touristy so hostels are not very well maintained. Go with a BnB if it’s coming to the same amount or choose hostels very wisely. Pay a bit more if you have to.

• Uffizi Gallery: Can’t miss this if you’re into Renaissance art and the Roman era
• Vineyards Wine tasting tour: This was awesome, it’s a 6hour tour with pickup and drop
